Every professional has unique
content for their website. Here we have outlined a few common
pages for most professionals in addition to a few industry
specific pages that are most common to certain professions. We
will incorporate your existing marketing materials into your
website.
- Home Page - makes that
first, all-important impression. Here is where a brief message
and important points should be highlighted in a clear and
concise format.
- Overview - helps clients
to better understand and relate to your firm/office by
providing a sense of identity.
- Profile & Professionals
- Here is where you provide a profile of your company and of
each of the professionals in your organization. This gives
potential clients a sense of who you are and builds trust and
a degree of comfort. Clients love to see who you are and what
each professionals' specialties are.
- Departments & Practices -
Law firms, Financial professionals, Doctors, and any
professionals that service the public, allow potential clients
to view the services you offer, what practice you are in, and
any departments that are necessary to direct them to the
proper information they are seeking.
- Contact & Locations -
without question, everyone in business wants to be contacted
to gain additional clients! Unless you work out of a home
office, provide office locations with addresses, phone numbers
and directions.
- Company Directory - good
idea if each person in your organization has their own email
and phone and they want to be contacted directly. Great
for Real Estate Brokers, Financial Professionals, etc. Doctors
and/or Attorneys may choose to have all of the publicly posted
emails to be directed to their assistant or staff member and
keep their personal emails for existing clientele only.
- Frequently Asked Questions
- you may not think this is
necessary, but this is a great way to get the repetitive
questions that most people ask, answered without taking up
your time having to repeat them over and over. Doctors and
Attorneys can benefit immensely with FAQ's. Adding a link to
your email for additional questions that were not answered is
an important feature.
- Clients & Testimonials
- optional feature that allows clients to read what other
clients have to say. Obviously, anyone can get a client
testimonial from at least one happy client. Most people know
that so they don't always give it much thought when they read
them, but, it still can make an impact with simple phrases and
one-liners placed appropriately throughout your site.
- Articles, Tips &
Information - Great feature for any professional. Articles
written by you or another professional in your firm can build
a great amount of client respect by showing your expertise in
the subject. It also is beneficial to you by educating your
clients with information that might otherwise take up your
time explaining one-on-one to them.
- Resources & Links -
there are 1000's upon 1000's of resources available on the web
in any given subject. Don't bog down your visitors with 100's
of links that send them away from your site. Use this page
only to provide a handful of links to the most useful sites
that provide information to implement your own.
- News and Events - Great
way to keep your content fresh and updated. Share news that
shows off your skills - awards, winning a case, recent sale,
etc. List any events that are important to your clients -
seminars, open houses, etc.
- Recruiting & Jobs -
students looking for job opportunities often browses local
companies on the internet to find the company that best fits
their skills. Job postings is a great way to recruit this new
talent!
